ONETEN Magazine: Please tell us a little about yourself? My name is Marissa Jade and I am a Model, Actress, Comic Book Character, Spokesmodel, and Head Cage girl for GPG (Global Proving Ground) My comic book; Destiny Queen of Thieves is actually in contract to
be made into a movie. I will be starring in it as Destiny. Very excited about that.
ONETEN Magazine: How long have you been modeling for, and how did you get started?
I have been in the industry for 10+ years. I guess my confidence came from everyone telling
me how beautiful I was and I should be a model. One day I was in school and had a change
of heart about what I wanted my career to be so I just left and said I wanted to pursue modeling. And have been ever since.
ONETEN Magazine: Can you tell us about your very first photoshoot and how was that
experience? My very first photo-shoot was in Manhattan. I wasn’t nervous at all, in fact excited. I was getting hair and makeup ready, I remember the makeup artist telling me I look like Brooke Burke but much younger. Once we were done we headed to wardrobe. My 2-hour shoot turned into 5 and 2 rolls turned into 4. The photographer said he just couldn’t stop shooting me. It was definitely a lot of fun. :)
ONETEN Magazine: Outside of modeling, what do you like to do for fun? I don’t have much downtime because my work is fun and I do travel a lot, but when I’m off I like to just hang with my friends, shop, dinners, travel, amusement parks. You know all that fun stuff. I’m a bit of an
adrenaline junky so I’m down for whatever.
